Day 2: Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (Breakfast)

After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a nice drive passing through beautiful rice paddy fields of the Red River Delta to the magnificent Halong Bay. On arrival, check in the hotel and take a few minutes for relaxation before starting the discovery in the bay. Embark on a nice cruise to admire outstanding scenery of the spectacular limestone caves, such as Drum Cave, Man's Head Islet, Turtle Islet and Fairman's Cave. You cannot miss the chance to visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most impressive caves on the limestone mountain. Then head to Van Gia fishing village - one of the oldest and largest floating villages in Halong Bay. Come back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.

Before the flight to discover another Vietnamese old capital – the ancient Hue, take a short Hanoi city tour to several twinkling points as the Temple of Literature and Hanoi Opera House. Leave this charming capital city to Hue, check in the centrally located hotel and take refresh for a while. Hue served as the capital of Vietnam under the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945 and the city’s regal past can still be seen inside the walls of the Citadel and the Imperial City. During the rest of the day, enjoy your own discoveries in the city to experience the very first feeling in the old capital. Stay overnight in Hue.

After breakfast, sail on the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the most famous religious site in Hue and continue to visit the tombs of the Ming Mang and Khai Dinh Kings in the middle of a pine forest. Then leave the city of romance of Vietnam, move north to Hoi An. On the way, stop to take wonderful pictures and enjoy the breathtaking view of Hai Van Pass, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. You also have chances to visit Lang Co beach lying on the most beautiful curve of the "S", where you can be the first to see the sun rise in Vietnam, and the famous Marble Mountain. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. The afternoon comes with an interesting stroll around the town. Overnight in Hoi An.

The first stop is at Tan Ki House, 400-years-old Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient pagodas and temples as well as colorful markets with shopping time available. Welcome the afternoon with an interesting ride tour to the beautiful Cua Dai Beach, which is one of the most stunning beaches in Vietnam. After breakfast, enjoy leisure time until driving to Da Nang airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh City – the largest as well as the most vibrant city in Vietnam. The first stop is at the Reunification Palace, which is a famous historical site in the city, then the Notre Dame cathedral, the one remaining stronghold of Catholicism in the largely Buddhist Vietnam. Next, pay a visit to the Chinatown and Thien Hau and Quan Am pagodas, two of the most famous pagodas in Ho Chi Minh. After seeing the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum, we conclude the city tour with Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
