The daily city tour starts with the first visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex with such outstanding points as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. It will be a huge mistake if you miss the opportunity to discover the huge cultural and architectural values of One Pillar Pagoda, one of the symbols of Hanoi. From the complex, keep walking to admire the Temple of Literature, which is on top of the historical and beautiful sites of the beautiful capital of Vietnam. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda which is considered a cultural symbol of Vietnamese Buddhism, Quan Thanh Temple, one of the four “sacred guardian temples” of the ancient Thang Long. Then have a nice stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, the lake of the legend and charming beauty to enjoy a peaceful late afternoon. Leave the enchanting capital, continue the trip to explore one of the World Natural Heritages, the magnificent Halong Bay passing through the picturesque villages of the Red River Delta. Halong Bay is actually one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Head out of the town we and embark on a private boat for the discovery of the spectacular Halong Bay. This fascinating cruise offers a fantastic view of the breathtaking scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beautiful beaches, splendid grottoes and caves. Day 9: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels – Cao Dai Temple (Breakfast)

From Ho Chi Minh, drive to Cu Chi to discover an immense network of connecting underground tunnels. Viet Cong guerrillas used the tunnels to hide the enemies during combat, communicate and supply medicine, food and weapons. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped achieve ultimate military success. You will be impressed by the talent as well as the bravery of Vietnamese people. After the discovery, head to another highlight, Cao Dai Temple which was built in 1933 in a unique architectural style that reflects its blended traditions. After the visit, drive back to the hotel in the city center. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Continue the trip to Vinh Long province and embark on a beautiful traditional boat. This five-hour river cruise leads you through the most productive agricultural area in Vietnam.  Enjoy poetic picture of coconut palms, sugar-cane groves and fruit orchards from the vessel when heading to the Cai Be floating market. It is really interesting to cruise through the colorful barges full of fruit and vegetables of all kinds. The trip continues along the Mekong canals to Dong Hoa Hiep Island, which is located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people, therefore, paying the visit to the island promised a lot of excitement. Return to Saigon in the late afternoon and have dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
